I bought a jerepet 2100gph wave maker but even in speed one it blows sand. And I will be updating every week. I need some help on trying to get a schedule for testing what needs to be tested I have the api reef master kit and freshwater master kit so I have most of the stuff to test the salinity was 1.026 on a lil bit 1.027

Are you able to control the gph on it with the control panel?

And testing is up to your preference. More corals more testing in my opinion. I do tests weekly on Sundays. And I would skip out on the API test kits as they are pretty much trash. I would go with the Red Sea test kits. Foundation pro test kit and the phosphate are the ones that I have. And try to get your salinity to 1.025.

dang I just bought the api I have been using the freshwater one and it’s been pretty stable no off I test twice to make sure the stuff is right but I will look into it. Do you have a mini wave maker that could be better. I have the dual random flow outlet coming so I’m thinking about waiting till I see what they do

I got the salinity to 1.025 today and I set up the ato pump too so now I don’t even gotta worry about evaporation but now gotta worry about the pump pumping to much or two little it’s a sensor one but still. Do you recommend any coral food or food for the fish I’m getting a yasha goby pared with a pempermint pistol shrimp next week it’s ordered at a lfs

@CrazyDuck959 hey man I got this oyster feast for my coral and inverts is that good and I got a mix of frozen marine food
So I have never actually needed to feed my corals cause they seem to not need it (Apart from the occasional spot feeding to show friends). I have looked into potentially dosing my tank with Red Sea Reef AB+ Reef Energy as I have heard good things about it. But I saw no need to feed if they didn’t need it as it would just cause an unnecessary amount of waste in the tank. So it’s honestly up to how your corals react to the food and if they even need it. And I have never heard of that specific food so maybe ask around. And for my fish and inverts I use New Life Spectrum Marine Fish Pellets. My fish love them and my cleaner shrimp and nassarius snails eat the leftovers that the fish don’t catch. But that’s what works for me.

The dude from fish world told me it’s a great food and one drop every two weeks and I put one lil drop last night and I saw my lil cleaner shrimp flying to the food but thank you I will ask around
