Hello! This is my first post for my build. I have been on and off in the hobby since I was 10. I recently ordered a 12G Studio tank from Reef casa, after lots of research for my new tank I settled on Reef casa for a few reasons listed below in no particular order.
1. Size/Shape of tank was what I was looking for. I really enjoy Small "Lagoon" style tanks.
2. Price/gear ratio. The price offered on these tanks is impressive when you buy the kit.
3. Accessory offering. I'm a sucker for brands who are a "All in one solution" I love being able to order accessories and know they will fit/work with the tank perfectly.
4. There seems to be a limited amount of info on these tanks, and I like the idea of trying out something new and less common.
My tank is slated to arrive tomorrow (09/19/2024) I have been messing with aqua scaping ideas for about a week and may have finally settled on one that the wife and I enjoy. I really have been into the "Tree/Branch" style lately but decided to forego that style for now. Possibly in a future tank. Stocking list is simple.
1. CUC (Exact roster is still in development)
2. Pair of Clow Fish.
3. Various LPS and Soft corals. might dip feet in SPS eventually.
I will update this threat when the tank arrives with some photos of the packaging and shipping experience and obviously expect numerous updates about the tank in the future. Any questions you got please let me know!
