Feeler gauges helped me so much more than paper. If your using the piece of paper for the offset, you want a bit of drag on it. I also preheat the bed and nozzle.
But some feeler gauges work best, I don't have a .1 but use a .102, it's still just a "close enough" and you may have to dial that in too. I usually bump it once or twice .005 closer.
My glass bed is coated on one side, glass on the other.Feeler gauges helped me so much more than paper.
Glue stick works well too, also me glass bed was pex coated. Also, I switched to a spring steel with pex coating. That seemed to do better than the glass. My hypothesis was that the glass was too thick for the bed to heat well. The thermometer said the bed was 60, but the top could have been cooler.
TWSSI've been preheating mine.
I've been trying to turn it on and set the bed to preheat but maybe I should let it preheat longer.Glue stick works well too, also me glass bed was pex coated. You using the coated or glass side?My glass bed is coated on one side, glass on the other.
Glass for the last 1 that almost finished. You using the coated or glass side?
You can also set it to preheat before printing in the gcode. But yes, I hit preheat before ever hitting print.I've been trying to turn it on and set the bed to preheat but maybe I should let it preheat longer.
Is your nozzle size really .5?On previous prints that failed, the boat was the only thing not stuck although it did seem like the ring around the outside was stuck more on the left than the right. I'll have to see how to manually adjust the right side of the bed maybe.
I think I need a different program maybe. Not seeing where I can adjust the heat settings.
Umm... Sadly, TWSSIs your nozzle size really .5?
I don't think so. That's the generic Cura settings. I haven't loaded anything in yet except for the Gcode for Benchy. I need to still adjust for my machine. Is your nozzle size really .5?
I got my deer, just no elk. Yellowstone is a ton of fun! @Stang67 , you're still doing your wolf trip? These last couple of pages have been HOT!
Ran across this at the Hoover Dam Lodge. Thought about picking one up for you, but then thought that might be in bad taste ;-)
