So my ro/di unit had been working flawlessly, 0 TDS for over a year. The first carbon filter started looking a little dark and the di resin was about half used (color changing resin) so I thought I’d be proactive and change out everything, including sediment filter and ro membrane.
I’ve now flushed thru about 64 gallons of water and my inline tds meter is still showing 1-2 tds. I cleaned the probes with rubbing alcohol, but still am getting the same 1-2 result.
How long does “flushing” the ro membrane take? Some sites said an hour or so. This has been much longer.
