I have a few salifert test kits from when i was in the hobby a couple years ago, do these things really expire? i got some new kits and did the same tests and still got accurate results. what do you guys think?
I looked for a previous question for this but could not find (maybe because it is common sense lol ):
If I collect water yesterday for example, and test it the next day.. there really is no difference in parameters for the normal attributes?
Is there some sort of shelf life for accuracy?

Nitrite: About 0.5
Nitrate: Between 10 & 20
What are your thoughts on where...

I am new to saltwater aquariums. I started my tank a week ago and did a water test yesterday. My nitrate levels are at 20 I have no fish in it yet. I was wondering if this is a problem or if it would even itself out.
