Auto WC instead of carrying buckets

Hello everyone, I would like to get my water change automated using a versa dosing pump. My tank is currently just a 20g but I can always move it to my bigger system once I upgrade. I was thinking maybe a 2% daily waterchange over a 2hr period. Any tips or advice is welcome.

Arizona Misc. Pumps Dry Goods SOLD Kaomer X2SR Auto Water Change Pump

Bought this to setup auto water changes and decided to not use it anymore. It was pretty great to set it and forget it. The X2SR is a reliable choice, featuring high-quality PharMed tubing, a battery backup to restore function in the event of power loss, and multiple float sensors to trigger...

Green Slimers and Acros - short term exposure to air during W/C

The topmost rock in my tank comes up to about the 3/4 mark, and if I do a large W/C, some coral will be exposed to air. As of tight now, just a flow-happy torch and a couple Green Slimer frags an LFS owner gave me to try out. I've seen exposed reefs before out in the wild, but I don't know much...

    Beating dinos

What do you guys think of this idea to beat Dinos? I have 2 tanks, both waterbox frags. My 105.4 is going on one and a half years old doing extremely well and mature. My newer Waterbox Frag 165.6 is about 5 months old and now it’s getting a Dino outbreak and my nutrients bottomed out. Can I do a...

Mixing Station - Can you speed up the process with an external heater?

I usually sit a 25W heater, an air pump with air-stone and a 1000Lph pump in a 5 gallon bucket, I put in around 700g of salt with 18Liters + or - and usually come back around the same time the next day to do a water change. Baseline Parameters

R2R Community- How do you establish baseline parameters for your reef to really see how much calc/alk/mag your corals are using? I test once a week, but it seems as though numbers can jump around a little. Ive also never tested right after a WC to see what the numbers are once elements have...
