water clarity

This UV was originally bought new and has been used for about 3 years with no issues. It's cleaned and in very good condition ready to use. Comes with OEM new slip unions and a new Lutrace 57w lamp.

Scenario: I have one free outlet left in my system. My max Par at the highest point of my aquascape is 210. My tank consumes X amount of Calcium, alkalinity, magnesium, etc. And while .08 Phosphate and 20.3 Nitrate isn't terrible, every water change to reduce them resets Cal, Alk, etc.

I want to get nearly purely clear water but it’s too hard with just the filter pad and bag of carbon I’m running in my media basket. Any thoughts on the best filtration? I was thinking seachem purigen, filter floss, carbon and a mini refugium but I’m not too sure.
