Hi all,
Anybody here have success in housing multiple bristletooth tangs in a 4ft tank? Specifically small Tomini with introduction of either blue eyed or short tailed bristletooth.
No other tangs in the system.
TIA
I’m looking at getting a 190 gallon display tank with a 40 gallon sump. I would like to get a tang. I’ve read some tangs need a tank that is 220 gallons, (although I’m looking at smaller tangs) is this display volume that needs to be 220 or overall volume that includes that sump volume?
Assume:
All fish are introduced at the same time
Proper filtration
All fish quarantined
Mix of tangs from nasos to kole tangs. ie 1 or 2 of each species
Thank you!
Have a waterbox 100.3 reef tank but I was reading about tangs / dimensions of acceptable tanks and my size is not on there. Here’s a pic of the dimensions on the tank.
I’m assuming this is to small for a tang yea?
I have a Waterbox Frag 145.5. I have not set it up yet. I am planning on having 5 fish: Regal Tang, Yellow Tang, Purple Tang and 2 clownfish. I currently have a Waterbox 25G and I do a 20% change every 7 days. My question is..

Friendly reminder. I am seeing frequent suggestions of fish totally inappropriate for tanks due to their size. So before you post, look back to see size of OP’s tank. If it is not listed - ask for it. I’ve seen this happen at lot lately. Often seeing inappropriate fish for tanks that are only...
