I have seen this thing in my tanks for months now and know its a cool thing to have, normally I will see it around when the main tank lights are out but today I see it having a "release" lol
Got a question.. I just happen to catch my stomatella releasing eggs into my tank. I know I only have one that came as a hitchhiker over 6 months ago. Do the eggs need to be fertilized or can they hatch on their own??
Tried to look it up online but no luck so I figured my next best would be to...
My aquarium is brand new, only about 3 days old at this point, and a stomatella snail that hitchhiked from live rock just died. I tested my water at the store today and the results were 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0 nitrate, 0.5 phosphate, and 1.026 salinity. The lfs worker told me the salinity may be...

I'm considering getting a yellow coris wrasse but I have a lot of stomatella snails who keep my tank without any algae. I'm concerned the wrasse will eat the snails thus allowing the algae to grow?

Can anyone confirm that this is likely or possible? Any concerns or...
