Wondering if anyone can help id if this is asterina starfish or something else, and whether it’s reef safe. It’s pretty small and looks like asterina but I’ve never seen asterina starfish with orange on the shell.
Hey guys, I recently moved some rocks from another tank into this system and found this little guy in the sand bed moving about. any possible ideas and should it be pulled? (Asking since I don’t think I would have the space to add a fish that would be a predator to the starfish incase I become...
I think I will need your help with these new neighbors.
I call Google and have a beer while searching but I can't find what kind of starfish or slug it is.
I only have one guy here because the other one was too shy for a photo shoot. Also these 2 pictures are the best I can take due to the...
A recent order of snails brought in MEN, and this guy apparently towards the bottom left:
It looks like a starfish and the arms move like a starfish; snail is in the middle for size reference. Thoughts on an ID? Thanks!
I was cleaning my tank and saw this ony my rock. I do not know how it got there but it looked like a starfish. What kind of starfish is this? What is it good for? Please let me know.
I am about 99.99% sure that this is frogspawn but my LFS said it was a hammer. I’m assuming because one of them wanted it and they knew I already had hammers. Second, is this a beneficial sea star? Appeared out of nowhere.
Started this fluval sea 5gal as a hospital tank with some live rock that I brushed and rinsed in rodi water and some caribsea live sand, is this a baby star fish? Or is it something I need to get out of my tank asap

Snail- it’s very small- notice the sand size
Is this next one the common starfish we always see? It just looks different than the white ones I’ve had. Ignore the superglued vermetid snail in the picture.
So I have these white what looks like starfish to me, almost like micro bristle stars, but I'm not sure. They don't seem like asterina's because they're legs are longer and thinner from what I can tell. There's quite a few on the glass I see every few days or so. Anybody know for sure?
So just spotted this guy this morning before lights came on. He started making his was back into the sand bed when lights started coming on. Can anyone ID if this is an asterina star?
