I was feeding my fish this morning an noticed that my flareback angel wasn't coming up to eat. I didn't remember seeing her earlier so I looked around the tank and noticed that she was stuck inside of a cave rock. I dismantled my scape to get at the rock, but when I got the cave rock free she...
A lot of the tissue has receded on this octospawn but there is still plenty there, about half. Easier to see when fully closed, it still somewhat opens, any dips or something i can do to recover it? I believe it was a bacterial infection no signs of brown jelly though. Thanks for...
Randomly, my gem tang decided to beat up my Bristletooth Tang for 1-2 days straight. The aftermath is pretty bad.
The gem tang has been quarantined to the sump and the rock work has been overhauled to break up any territory crap.
Can anyone help me help this guy make a proper recovery?
So, I ordered a damsel from online retailer and received it at work around noon, they didn't package it well, the head pads were cold and most important water in bag was icy cold, fish was pale and not moving, i tried to move it, touch it, fish was 100% dead I assumed. Other inverts in bag were...

So I have had this lovely elegance coral for a little while now, it had about 4 heads or mouths to feed per say. Today my coral beauty decided to go onto a murderous rampage and eat about 3/4 of my elegance coral.

So I had this beautiful wall hammer arrive yesterday 8 hours late via UPS in 93 degree weather with a water temp of 86.5. The seller contacted UPS and said if it doesn’t make it they would cover it. It was shipped with an ice pack but due to UPS being outrageously late it was exhausted. I slowly...
My girlfriend bought a torch from our LFS for me about a week ago. When I got home from work today I noticed all of this brown jelly building up on the skeleton of the torch.

Hi All,
Thought I'd start off the new year by doing a build thread for my 3 year old mixed reef tank to document the progress of the things that I've been doing lately and share my journey of what I want my tank to eventually become. Hopefully I will get there.
The Origin:
I started this tank...
