not extending

Was curious as to why only one polyp of my hammer coral extends. It’s in a low-ish flow area of the tank and I dim my lights for about 6 hours of the day and give them about 4 hours of brighter light.

Had this green torch for more than a month now. Looks pretty healthy but it just won't extend. Most of the polyp just keeps pointing up because of the short polyps. It's getting sufficient flow. Is there a short polyp version of torches? Or am I doing something wrong? Every other coral is doing...

So when I got these guys they were extending their tentacles every night for about a week. Ive had them for little more than three weeks and I saw one the other night extend maybe a tentacle halfway. Why is that?
