Hello, i recently got a kenya tree frag and put it in not realizing my emerald crabs were hungry. The next morning i found some of the frag picked on and cut. I have resolved the hungry crab issue but my kenya tree seems to be infected.Should I just snip the piece that I think is infected and...
Hi guys, I’ve had this coral in my tank for years and it’s been healthy and growing. I’ve always thought of it as a “pink Kenya tree” but I’d like to have confirmation. Thinking of adding some other things near it (after trimming it a bit) and I’d like proper IDs to help avoid any issues...
If it is a colt coral, doesn't it release toxins? I have a lot of LPS in my tank and I heard that it's recommended to run carbon. Should I run carbon 24/7 or just every now and then? Is there any negatives with running carbon that I should be aware of?

Hi Folks!
Hoping someone can offer some insight on the little Kenya Frag in my QT. It’s grown/done well along with everything else in the tank. A couple of weeks ago I noticed bubbles had formed near its base. I’ve searched around a bit but haven’t found a similar instance. Soooo, does...
I have a huge Kenya tree coral in my tank! It is going crazy on me and dropping limbs every few days. As I do not want this gorgeous tree to take over my tank I am offering limbs for free to reefers in my area. If you are in the Bakersfield Ca area and want one please let me know
Hey y'all,
I've been trying to solve a Xenia problem for some time now, and I'm wondering if this could be the problem. I have a 10 gallon aquarium with a single clown, 3 snails, and one emerald crab, that has been battling Dinos for months. The tanks is looking better, but my Xenia is looking...
So this is my first reef tank that I recently started and so for I think it is a success. I got a good deal at PetSmart that came with the filter, heater, lights net and thermometer. I already had a small 10 gal tank with fresh water fish and decided to try a salt water reef tank for the first...

I glued my Kenya tree in a position where there seems to be to much weight from gravity for it to handle. I just got it and I’m wondering if it will start reaching toward my lights and fix itself? Or should I fix it now? It’s just in a good spot so I’d rather not move it. Btw in the pics I had...

I have a Kenya Tree explosion... I'm going to get a few bucks from some of it in trade-in value from my LFS, but it spreads fast. I've got quite a few sprouts left. :)
I need someone to tell me it's okay to just throw some of it away. I feel bad about doing that - so many things aren't...
Both my kenya trees are grey and shrunken, they are not limp. My LFS said they may be “sunburned” which I think was another way to say shedding. I just bought a new light and very likely could have had it to bright. What do you think?
Hey Everyone,
As my tank and collection has gotten larger and the pandemic has still left me unemployed, I'm happy to present some of my little slice of the ocean for sale. These coral have brought me a great deal of enjoyment while in my care and I hope they are able to do the same for whoever...
Hey everyone,
I added a nice green Kenya Tree to my 20 gallon tank, one of two corals I have added today alongside a Toadstool.
The coral has shrivelled right back into the frag that it’s on, and hasn’t fully extended since placing it first in my tank six hours ago.
A moment ago it extended a...
I have some Kenya trees ranging from 3" to 8" in height...
Liveaquariua has their "small" (1-2.24") for $38. I'm not out to make a ton a money, but just offer a fair price.
I'm probably just going to try to sell them locally in my area.
How do you go about pricing these things?
Thanks!
