iodine dip

I slightly damaged my frogspawn while cleaning… a few polyps broke off. Should I do a iodine dip? How much do I add per gallon? I placed an order for Lugol’s solution but it will take 2 days. Will it be okay in the meantime?

I was wondering if anyone ever dips sps like Stylo in antibacterial dips like Povidone Iodine or Lugol's Iodine? I can't seem to find a very exact dosage out there.

Over two days my zoanthid frags just started acting like they were melting away. No idea what’s going on. Tank parameters seem near perfect. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I did a 20 minute iodine dip and it did nothing.
