Any odea what this fleshy looking purple thing is on my rock? It does not move, had an indention/hole in the middle and looks porous. Could this be a sponge?

Anyone know what this is? Doesn’t appear to be aptasia and it’s a brand new firework clove frag I just put in, it opened up a lot quicker than they have.

I have caught Atleast 40 using the stinky water trap. There are about 10 threads to scan on these creatures but I’m not seeing people have much success or continue the thread after success. Tampa bay saltwater says they don’t breed in captivity and die out. Any success stories???
