Well I did it, today I ordered a Joe's Glass Cages custom tank to replace the 72 bow front. The bow front's center brace is cracking way from the back of the tank, and since it is almost impossible to find a Tom's Aqua Pump for the CPR over flown a replacement is in order.
It will be 8 to 12...
Should I reseal 300 g 8’ glass cages tank? It does not leak, although has flat nonsticky silicone on one corner and a chip in another corner. If so what type of silicone is ideal and can it just go over old silicone as long as it still touches glass? What about placing new pieces of glass on...

I am looking for a specific dimension tank, preferably reef ready and rimless.
The closest I have found are seapora 75g coming in at 48x18x20 and waterbox's Marine X 110.4 coming in at 47.2 x 19.7 x 21.7. My third option, would be a glasscages tank. I have heard good things about them, but the...
Well, it is finally starting to get a little real. My stand materials arrived yesterday from Framing Tech. I was a little miffed there were no assembly instructions, but once I organized all the parts, and spent a few minutes with the CAD drawings, it was pretty obvious. This is what 172 lbs of...
Hi All, I reentered the hobby last March after almost a 10 year hiatus (Formerly W1dude on NanoReef). My GF convinced me to set up an 80g in our living room. Well, fast-forward to a new house and 1.5 year later:
We are 1 week out from delivery on a 72" x 36" x 25" tall glass build. The...

I'm currently shopping for glass suppliers for an aquarium build but struggling to find anyone other than glasscages. I'm looking for someone who can sell me 7'x3'x3/4" glass sheets within a half day's drive of Northern VA. Ideally I'm looking for tempered glass since the aquarium is going to be...

I have done a lot of research on the forums and on the internet and completely understand that Glass Cages are hard to deal with and don't have the best customer support. That being said has anyone had an issue with the product? I cannot afford the other aquarium builders prices and have had 2...
