Just picked up this drop in manual fleece roller for my IM 40L AIO. Really happy with the placement next to the protein skimmer but I have a question. What do I put in the open space at the base of the plastic towards the cone end (pictured). It looks like a place for additional filter media...
Does anyone know the steps in creating a custom automatic fleece roller? It seems no one took an interest in making an automatic fleece roller for the completely rare rectangular filter sock opening. If anyone can lead me to the right direction or if anyone knows of a company that makes one for...
Anybody abandoned the Trigger fleece roller and installed a diff brand on the trigger sump?
I’ve burned out 2 of their motors ($$$) in a year and it’s a pain to change fleece if it runs out on you.
I have a new in box Aquamaxx AF-1 automated fleece roller. I bought it a few months ago and decided to go in a different direction after getting intimidated by the plumbing (I am not very handy). Here are pictures from the BRS website. I have never opened the box. $180 shipped.
I have room to fit either size, the ReefMat 500 (up to 130 gallons) or ReefMat 1200 (up to 315 gallons) . I will be pushing up towards the rated limit of the ReefMat 500, is it better to go with that size or is bigger better in the scenario of fleece rollers?
Waterbox 150.4 (105 gallons...
First off, I’m getting great use out of my Trigger platinum sump and I generally like it. Buuut….
If you miss the timing to attach another fleece roll before the last one runs out… it is a major pain in the tuchus to thread a new fleece through the fleece rollers underwater, in an overstuffed...
I have for sale an iSeaLive (Youtuber) made Innovative Marine 40 fleece roller. Unfortunately my IM40 broke when I was moving so I no longer have a need for this.
Info on the roller is here...
Does anybody have a Cade S2 1200 with a reef mat installed in the return section where the 2 filter socks are?
Would love to see pics, issues you had, whatever you can say about getting that added would be great. Thanks!
I have posted about this before but my roller mat( I have the bubble magus gen 1 small) is going through fleece so fast. Last roll lasted 2 and half weeks. First roll lasted a month and a week. So not sure how it is using so much more now. Any advice how to make it go longer? I directed more...
Originally purchased a Reefmat 500 for my Waterbox 150.4 and found it to be a smidge undersized. Replaced it with a 1200 immediately.
It’s only been in use for 2-3 weeks with a single roll. So it’s about as new as used can get.
Looking for $300 and will include the 3 spare rolls I purchased...
Fiji-24 Advanced Reef Sump PRO - 2nd Gen - New $550
I bought this in June and never used it. I have every thing that came with it, heater holders, filter tray, filter socks, acrylic lids, etc. I put the filter roller together and left it at that. Two rolls included, original roll and an extra...
I have three sk5000s, right now they're all currently disassembled but feel free to contact me for time stamped pics and I can even assemble them if you'd like. I keep them disassembled when I'm not using them and especially if I plan on selling them. They're fragile if you try to ship them...
Does anyone make a inline unit for plumbing that will catch larger debris such as dehydrated shrimp or other larger food waste , before the roller system ? So as I don’t get a collection of decaying food I have to remove the roller to get out ???
Hey everyone. I've had my waterbox cube 20 for about a month now and I've gotten some new equipment, including an ATO from fzone and an automatic filter fleece roller from Reef Rolls. However, these two pieces of equipment do not seem to be interacting well. The fleece roller uses a water level...
Currently downsizing in equipments.
All equipments are in working order, no issues at all and currently running and will take it down once it is sold.
Apex El comes with energy bar, Ph and temperature probe.

Hello reefing friends. I recently upgraded an IM25 Lagoon (pictured) to an IM50 Lagoon and I thought, what a great opportunity to start my first build thread. I’ve been in the hobby coming up on 3 years and have had a few different tanks in that time frame. Most have either been sold or in...
I've been searching for some time to find someone who can help me with this project and no luck
Need a simple sheet of acrylic cut with a honeycomb pattern. I'm working on a custom fleece roller right now. I have the materials and some files that may need a little tweaking and of course...
When I set up my tank I am trying to debate on getting a skimmer or fleece roller first. This is my first SW tank so I may not even be asking the right question. They both seem to do roughly the same thing. It would seem that the skimmer would remove smaller particles from the water as opposed...
Just pulled off and will be broken down and cleaned prior to shipping. Comes with about half a roll of fleece.
Asking $200 plus shipping. Will post more pics once cleaned.
BNIB: Trigger Platinum 26 Sump. It comes with four addition fleece rolls that were purchased separately, sump came with two for a total of 6 fleece rolls. I only took it out of the box for pictures. The roller system and other pieces are still wrapped in the original bubble wrap and have never...
I’m looking to purchase a Red Sea 1200 fleece roller. The specs claim it can handle a max flow of 2380gph. I’m curious if anyone can confirm this is accurate. I’m currently pumping 2000 GPH through my pumps with 1 1/2 inch overflow piping. The Red Sea connects with 1” tubing. I’m having a hard...
Trigger systems platinum 34 sump. About a year old. Has been cleaned and everything is here and working. Comes with half a roll of fleece, gate valve, and ball valves. Left the plumbing attached to the bulkheads so you can cut, and rework it how you need to.
My story and how I finally reached 8.3PH! Also please let me know, have you achieved 8.3PH? And how did you get there?
Ok so for those interested in PH from a “layman’s reef” I’m only a barely second year reef hobbyist with a 50gal tank/sump system living in western Colorado. My tank has...
