fallow quarentene

I recently purchased an ORA Snowstorm clown. It seemed to have an issue with its swim bladder upon arrival (not being able to stay buoyant) but after the first 24 hours that had gone away. Immediately upon introduction it paired with the ocellaris I had in my tank (the only fish at this point)...

I've been doing some research before setting up a new tank as I want to quarentene everything this time around. I want to have a fallow period before adding any fish to the tank my question however is will it still be effective at starving out disease if their are inverts like shrimp, snails...
