dyi sump

Hello there everyone! So i made a 55 gallon sump out of pvc board, i filled it and it seems to be holding only had it filled for a 7 days and it didn't leak. I just want to know if anyone else have done this before i give it a 100% on my new 300 gallon tank. its 6' long by 20'' wide and 12''...
