coral pest

I had just bought the Xenia coral and I was looking at it and I found these little tubes growing out from the base of the coral. Does anyone know if this is some kind of pest or is it new stems of the coral.

I just received my WWC live sale corals - during the dip this little guy came off. I emailed them to ask also - but thought you all would know as well. 2nd opinions always good Is this a baby brittle starfish or a coral pest? if it’s a brittle I’m totally keeping it.

Anyone know what this hitchhiker is? It came in on a frag from a recent live sale. It looks like a small aquatic version of a roly poly. It has a bunch of legs (10 at least?) and two very small distinguishable eyes.
