anemone guard

Hello everyone I have a 5+ year old power head that works perfectly well I got of Amazon. I'm not sure what the name is and I know that the power head guards online won't work. Is there any DIY technique I can use until my to be introduced anemone settles down

I bought this a few months ago but only turned it on to make sure it works. It came with extra wetsides and anemone covers. Price is $250 plus shipping.
